These Ladies Ultra Lite Socks in Purple are specially designed to fit comfortably inside tighter-fitting and formal shoes. With an amazing 1.0 TOG rating, these thermal socks are three times warmer than a basic cotton sock, so you get more of our famous thermal protection with less of the bulk.

Formal and tighter-fitting shoes can often feel cold to wear. Not only do they offer less insulation than casual shoes, but most of the socks that will fit inside them provide little or no thermal protection.

Warm them before use!!

I found my feet were cold all day resulting in chilblains... I read after you need to warm before wearing. This I did NOT DO. I will try the next time I wear. Quality and texture nice and ideal for work shoes, as not too thick.

Nice and warm and fit well

Thicker than expected

These socks work well for me in boots that were one size too big.
They are soft warm and cosy but I actually hoped they would be much thinner and still warm so I could wear them with my normal smart shoes. They are too thick for that but as I said they work well if boots are a bit too big.
